A couple of miles down the road from our little farm is the Kindred Farm. Stephen and Christine Bailey offer farm-to-table dining right in the midst of their full-time farm.

From The Baileys:

“K I N D R E D means “family, tribe, or clan.” At Kindred Dinners, folks may arrive as strangers, but by the end of the night they are sharing stories of their lives, exchanging texts, and making plans to see each other again. And that’s the beauty of what can happen around the table. It’s more than a piece of furniture - it’s a place where our bodies and souls are nourished.”

We have been lucky guests at their table on many occasions - both large and small- and it is always a pleasure. The food and the company is above par.

There certainly are perks to country life.
